535d is a great car but, think carefully before buying it. The engine is more complicated and that can lead to expensive falut finding if anythig does go wrong. Try a 530d it may tick all the boxes for you without the need for a higher level of techncal risk. And you will have cheaper insurance and running costs.

2003 E60 530D - vibration problem. Hi, my names Dave, I have a E60 530D on a 53 plate. I'm having a problem diagnosing a vibration / judder that my car has developed (feeling vibration through the seat and passenger seat vibrates), firstly I found that the rear swing arm bushes were worn so had then replaced (vibration still there) Next I Had G30 530d def regeneration. Got a new 530 d which I am delighted with except for one thing. I have just returned from a 100 mile round trip and on reaching home and turning off the engine the cooling fans were running and I could smell that a forced regeneration was going on. My understanding is that the dpf cleans itself when running at high NSgL.
